I believe Serge scored this a 93 points.
Purchased for 529 euros (including auction fees and shipping to USA). Expensive, yes, but I've been wanting to try this exact bottling for a while.
Musty sherry notes that retain its freshness over the years. Delectable, old juice! Earthy, nutty, with hints dark chocolates, milk chocolates, old black tea, and morel mushrooms. Clear, precise, distinctive notes. First class. Aberlour doesn't taste like this anymore!
Delicious stuff. Highly complex, with very dark chocolates, blackcurrants, and those earthy notes again. Mouthfeel is a bit thin, which is my only complaint, but the ABV of 50% is perfect.
Just lovely stuff... again, there is a creamy, chocolate feel to this, but yet, the mouthfeel is somewhat thin for this to be a total, total superstar.
