N: First up, its a sour milk, spirt led nose - with pickled artichokes, lime vanilla, bitter lemon meringue pie and salt n vinegar crisps.
T: Salty, spirit led arrival but the oak does try its best to support. Theres a bitter vanilla cream development with a zingy refined sweetness that completes this short and basic journey. Theres a suggestion of a richer fruity chocolate vanilla potential, but only with more years on the clock.
F: Short, spirity, sugary, sour, vanilla finish.
C: There is a healthy cask influence here but ultimately this Invergordon is spirit led, immature and either lacking depth or rough in part - or both. I’m nearly always voting for more cask time for grains and this is no exception.
