  1. Noface83 scored this whisky 68 points Specialist

Nose: a lot of old wood, a sweet and applied wood note (wood chips) as in cheap rum, cider apples, marzipan potatoes, despite 40% slightly pungent alcohol Taste: Lax, clear but not burning alcohol, a lot of bitter wood, brown foul apples, nutmeg. even the short finish is determined by many bitter tannins. Not uninteresting but anything but tasty. Conclusion: Nice experience. Cleanly burned but characterless raw brandy matured too long in too small oak barrels. A little longer in normal hogsheads would have been better.
