Whisky Reviews for Hazelburn CV

- Next to the springbank and longrow CV's this falls flat on several levels. Thinner, less complex and just a bit boring.
Malty, persistent soft heat with charming honey and orange. Covered
with misty eucalyptus and metal steel, a dose of old leather.
P- Toasted cereal, sweet malt and raisin. Despite triple distilled, still quite heavy on the palate.
F- Short-medium, ginger warm and good strength.
— at The Whisky Bar, Kuala Lumpur.
- My advice: give it time. Nose it until the roughness dissapears and a nice sweetness arrives.
Sadly, that bitterness in the palate ruins the experience.
Earthy (not as dominant as Springbank but quite noticeable), honey, malt, mint. Green apples?
Malt, spices, some citrics and a bitterness that involves all.
Medium, bitterness and spices still there
Apples, mandarines, almonds
Apples, mandarines, almonds, gingerbread, fennel
Short, fruity, spicy
