Nose: Unexpectedly smoky, farm and country air, fertilizer, some cheese. But also a bit salty. Fruity aromas then come through. Slightly perfumed, i.e. artificially fruity. Milk chocolate, apricots and vanilla. Surprisingly complex for a ten year old single malt.
Palate: BBQ sauce, smoked fish and licorice. But also a certain sweet/sour fruit - maybe raspberries. Then Alpine milk chocolate with a slightly bitter touch of cold coffee.
Finish: long with peat smoke, malt and salt.
Conclusion: Unusual and individual, but very beautiful. I can unreservedly recommend it. 85/100 points
