I had 2 bottles of this one, the first in 2012 after a raving 92 point whiskyfun review. Back then, I served this to friends in a row with other malts I had open at that time - Port Ellen 6th release, Lagavulin 21 1985 and Brora 30 5th release. While the Brora and Laga is 94-96 point material, still this one didn´t step out of the line in quality.
Reviewers already described the taste, so I´m just here to underline the quality and to grade definite 93 points for this dense, complex and unusual (since it´s rather "broad and wide" than "fresh and sharp" as the other 90s Bowmores) islay sherrybomb.
ps: The Devil´s Cask releases are a total shame in comparison!
