Whisky Reviews for Bruichladdich 1992 stca

- This is part of 2 bottles of Bruichladdich, bottled by Klaus Pinkernel from Cadenhead Berlin.
One is finished for 3 months in a herring cask, this is the one that contains the original whisky without being finished in a herring cask.
This Bruichladdich was distilled in 1992, just before it closed down. Because it was casked in 'old wood', Klaus decided to transfer his whisky in a sherry cask. Half of the cask was being put in a herring cask, the other half matured until 2006 and is named 'Vorher'
This is a nice Bruichladdich, and although it is not the hering finish, it is very salty and a bit oily 83p.
