cool old school island malt, has a lot of cask influence at this age. First Arran without this unpleasent citrus-y disinfectant/wet wipe aroma. Great texture, really thick and creamy.https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herrencreme
    • Nose
sweet vanilla pudding, rum flavoring, milk chocolate, "Herrencreme", citrus, apricots, malt, prickles, trace of alcohol, briny, there is something fermented in the background
    • Taste
very creamy and briny, feels chewy, soft american oak, still sweet, again that "Herrencreme", malt, prickles, citrus is also there and dried fruits ... doesnt seem to ripe at the beginning, but really opens up when you let it breath
    • Finish
medium, gently bitter, american oak, sweet vanilla, remains briny

    88/100 points - "PL-Kracher-Whisky".
This young Arran is amazing, considering the price and the youth in the evaluation.
For 30-40 € you get a multi-layered, delicious tasty whisky.
A must-have for anyone looking for a bourbon finish and looking for value for money.

    • Nose
Very intense vanilla, lots of sweetness and white chocolate.
In addition, a clear hint of citrus freshness and pastries.
      Very nice, tasty and interesting.
    • Taste
You can tell the youth of the Arran. He convinces with citrus fruits, vanilla, less sweetness than in the nose.
There is also some malt, oak and butter biscuit. Creamy, intense whisky.
Very tasty and surprising. The alcohol is initially noticeable, with some time in the air it is milder and rounder.
    • Finish
Medium-length finish Vanilla finish with wood, cereals and very complex.

For a long time the first whisky emptied before writing the "Comments". Must have been delicious. ;-)
    Good price (35 €) for a good, down-to-earth whisky.
    • Nose
mmmh, great (I like 1st-fill-bourbon), lots of vanilla, Raffaello, biscuit with lemon icing, a hint of salty freshness, very direct and intense
    • Taste
"darker" than the nose, creamy-nutty, sweet, roasted aromas, grape nut chocolate, latte
    • Finish
medium to long, grainy sweet, a touch of milk coffee

Nice "old school" Malt, although young, but brings a lot of barrel. The first Arran bottling, which does not come with the "cleaning cloth" in the nose. The texture is amazing, really nice creamy and thick
    • Nose
Sweet vanilla cream, Rumaroma, light chocolate, mens cream, citrus, lemon (the sweetness outweighs these), apricots, malt, tingles, light alcohol, maritime notes, a little bit greasy
    • Taste
creamy and mineral at the same time, I have the feeling of having to chew, mild oak comes immediately with vanilla, it remains sweet, again the mens cream, malt, it continues to tingle, the lemon fits well, dried fruit, acts a little at the beginning immature, after the bottle is a bit open, but it settles
    • Finish
medium-long, beautiful bitterness, white oak, sweet vanilla and a maritime / salty impression
