Gentle entry, warm scented wood, soft fruits, honeyed green tea, clay putty, vanilla fudge. There's something earthy here... mix of mushrooms, wet soil, and decomposing wood. Also something sweet and sourish. It's a slightly weird mix of aromas, I know, but this is working very well for me, to be honest.

Superb whisky. I am glad to have purchased this years ago... when it was cheap! You don't see this bottling a lot even in auctions nowadays. The slight earthiness in the nose gives way to some minerality in the palate. Tastes a bit like a dry white wine, a riesling perhaps... a bit sour, tart, and lemony. There's also some roasted barley tea here, along with soft fruits. Becomes malty towards the end.

Nothing wrong with this one, from start to finish. Bam! Good stuff.

Glenturret 34yo Bottled MAY / 2012 ACORN The Malt Tribune 700ml 47.6% vol. Hogshead NO.2 120 btls. Acorn This is not good for a chopstick break. Glenturret after a long absence! Color: Surprisingly, you do not have to eat a whole piece of sheep? Nose: A bit of roughness Asada, then a nuance of prune and berry type was surprising as Glenturret Attach: Although it is not possible to reach mint, it is slightly Although the ramune of pampering has a feeling of game feeling, firmly, it feels quite a lot of syrup plenty of cake and it is quite drinking Body: As expected, as Glenturret it is solidly thick, but quite a thick nect of honey This kind of nuance, unique to Glenturret, is an interesting place ... Taste: Surprisingly? A little Honey wrapped in Woody is a good contest with withered feeling and sweetness of enchantment.Small chocolate and rich chocolate cake are felt slightly but it is only a moment.Honorable oily & silky Finish: I felt a slight nuance of caramel, I thought "It was okay?" But, by returning, unexpected bitter is fluffy And strike at once, to zero! This 100 to 0 is irresistible! It is not Big Bang at all, but as a breakfast staff, it became a good cup that I could enjoy more than expected.

"This single cask bottling exudes rich

vanilla with some apricot and intense perfume. Fruit salad and dusty

jute sacks come to mind. The palate is rich in fruit, initially delicate

in texture but builds well with some lovely strands of honey. All in

all this is very graceful and rather moreish."

"A fantastic 34 year old whisky from Glenturret, released by Berry

Brothers & Rudd in August 2012. Bottled from Cask #2 this has been a

hit in their shop and with everyone in TWE HQ - grab it now before it

    disappears for good."
