Whisky Reviews for Glendronach 15-year-old Revival
9 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 88.47 points
- By far one of my favorite whiskies of all time. I still remember the first time I drunk this bottle a couple of years ago. It was the first time I could truly recognize flavor profiles and the whisky just kept evolving in the glass. Chocolate, nuts, coffee, toffee. At the time I was still quite unexperienced as a whisky drinker but this bottle made my kind of obsessive with digging deeper into new flavor profiles. This one brings back great memories and is still one of the bottles I truly enjoy drinking with every dram I pour! Besides that, this used to be a true bang for your buck whisky!
- The "first" revival (before 2015) - an ingenious malt for a small price.
intense: dark berries, raisins, sherry, caramel, spice, oak;
strong (46%), full-bodied, sherry, chocolate, spicy oak filling the palate, very aromatic;
long finish, a lot of sherry; spicy oak sounds;
Rather restrained, very complex and complex, sherry, raisins, sweet Christmas cookies, incredibly intense, rose garden (floral)
Fruity sherry, oak, slightly peppery
Strong and moderately spicy, very long finish, oak
