    The label & the name are an eye-catcher, but it also convinces in terms of taste. Real Bourbon fans should access here.
    • Nose
      A little bit sour, a hint of smoke, some hard toffee and some vanilla. Corny water, a hint of mint, some fresh oak, a soft cloud of smoke.
    • Taste
      Soft and velvety. a full penetrating vanilla sweetness. Big cornnotes & no oaks. Water makes this big ass very corn, juicy & sweet. In addition some sour notes, a little wood and in the end a hint of mild pepper.
    • Finish
      Tons of sweetness, corn, vanilla & syrup caramel cream. Sounds witty dry with Erdmeermarmelade. Water gives the swan song a light & cool pepperiness. Juicy fruit notes with some honey. Again rock easily.

    - very disappointing bourbon,
    - looks very young and out of round,
    - the few aromas are overlaid by alcohol,
    - with the high price => disappointment all along the line
    - this whiskey is worlds away from a 70 or 80 rating
    • Nose
      subtle vanilla, quite strong alcoholic first impression
    • Taste
      very sharp onset, remains very sharp, burns, scratchy, pepper, very few flavors, spice and a little vanilla towards the end, still looks young and out of round
    • Finish
      short sharp finish;
      medium-long warm burning aftertaste

    Expressed politely:
    still very young (immature), alcoholic, rather below average and much too expensive!
    [Color gold
    • Nose
      Caramel / fudge, honey, some vanilla, alcohol;
    • Taste
      soft at first, vanilla, caramel; then rye seasoning, biting, herbal, alcoholic, just too young!
    • Finish
      short, alcoholic, quite dry!

    A bourbon called after a huge donkey. Can this be any good?
