  1. Gloin scored this whisky 83 points Expert Senior

A beautiful solid sherry whisky, very pleasing, but not very complex and not very deep. blind tasting
    • Nose
It starts with sweet dark cherries, dark red wine, some caramel, earth, hardly any wood and hardly any spices that dominate cherries
    • Taste
Light body, cool, gentle onset, sweet and slightly watery, then the cherries come out of the nose, to some blood orange, in the background some cereal, almost no oak
    • Finish
Dark chocolate, not too bitter, with pieces of cherry, for the first time a little oak, medium long

  4. Gearmailteach scored this whisky 83 points Expert Senior

Not bad. Somewhat unbalanced, but easy drinking for sherry friends.
    • Nose
earthy-floral, sweetish and reasonably spicy. Light syrup sweet, sherry, red fruit. Leather, some oak, orange zest. Unfortunately, the alcohol occasionally comes through slightly sharp.
    • Taste
Sweet, again orange, some honey. Then spicy with dark chocolate, oak, a little clove. Increasingly dry and spicy.
    • Finish
Mitellang, a little orange, oak, chocolate.

A quality made spirit. But, like the bourbon cask reserve, it has a fading presence.
    • Nose
Earthy-cereal, light floral (jasmine or orange blossom), and light sherry fruits.
    • Taste
      Light spice with watery fruits.

      Cereal notes.
    • Finish
      Light cereal with faint floral.
