Whisky Reviews for Bunnahabhain 1989 AD

- Complex, subtle and strong. I'm loving these 1989 bunna's. Kintra and
also got similar casks.
Green bananas and other fresh fruit. Chalk, minerals. So quite coastal
Peat! Yeah, not to be expected from a 80's bunna, because in those days
they 'didn't use' smoky whisky. Still it is far from a Caol ila or Ardbeg, more
like an Ardmore.
Apple, seaweed, vanilla, ammonium chloride, liquorice.
Medium long, not that fruity or dry. Mostly on minerals and woodsmoke
- Pretty straight forward whisky. Not very complex, easy to drink with
light fruits in nose and taste and a sweetness towards the end,
combining with oak spices and bitterness to a finish with medium length.
