  1. LiquidThoughts scored this whisky 89 points Connoisseur

It was difficult to evaluate, very nice own grades for a PE, the smoke & ash woven in as elegantly as previously seen only 1-2 times in PE, I only wish it had 2-4% more, because it is one of the "tenderest "among the 46% PE so far, possibly. also through the quieter smoke. With a little more power he would have got 1-2 points more.
    • Nose
Exciting nose for a PE, in the first second it seems a bit weak on the chest, but it still offers a great, but elegant spectrum without being overloaded by something like some representatives of the distillery. For PE you have a surprising, beautiful sweetness, a bit like a corny bar with honey, sweet grain, lightly salted peanuts, green apple, ginger, a little lemongrass, the most distant fine smoke, an extinguished campfire would be an exaggeration, maybe. if you find the remains after 2-3 days, very subtle algae also in PE ratio, pear, some tree resin, forest honey, gooseberry, subtle iodine and almost a little pineapple behind it, marzipan, in between sweet, still slightly moist yeast dough is added
    • Taste
The 46% come through here more than the 40% of the nose, nice start, very own great acidity as I've rarely had it, it is clear gooseberry, precocious pear, green apple, some lime with peel, then fruit stones, very fine roasted Malt, hay that sizzles to itself and ash, but very elegantly woven in, crispy oak without bitterness, ginger, fennel, some chamomile
    • Finish
Ginger, lemongrass, camphor, lime, green apple, a bit of white pepper, medium to long, subtle ash at the very end, after the ash comes gooseberry and some pear again after 4-5 minutes
