  1. Marko_I did not rate this whisky Connoisseur

I think I'm standing in the woods! I think that's my favorite of the Woodsmoked brothers!
    • Nose
dark pastries ... Fruit bread, gingerbread, cinnamon and nutmeg, in the background plum jam and forest fruit jam, with sweet, aromatic smoke
    • Taste
sweet and bitter, which has something of forest - forest honey, pine needles, resin, sugar beet syrup ... the pepper cake house is also there, in addition to the pleasantly sweet smoke
    • Finish
long, chocolate, pine needles, some sharpness

  2. Kantenmechaniker scored this whisky 87 points Connoisseur

very pleasing, I generally like smoke + port very much, cask strength would have been a little better
    • Nose
creamy, milk chocolate with a dash of espresso, mocha, cherry and raspberry, fresh fruit notes, slightly sour, also something green like fennel or cucumber, also spicy, nutmeg, with a little patience you can imagine some smoke, but very discreet
    • Taste
very creamy, sweet chocolate, nuts. Fruit, pear, raspberry, and then the smoke comes, altogether more restrained, would have a few percent more tolerated
    • Finish
Grape skin, here also some wood smoke, drier, an appeal of Mon Cherrie

  3. Hemdl scored this whisky 87 points Connoisseur

Great Malt, who does not have to hide from many Scots. Sweet, fruity, light smoke. Something for everyone and a great combination. Only in the finish something lacks the depth and power.
    • Nose
Sweet and fruity. Dark berries and ripe grapes, with a little plum jam. Some smoke smoldering in the background.
    • Taste
The sweet port takes the entire mouth in fog. Sweet fruits, honey and light spice. Also here light smoke, but very discreet.
    • Finish
Unfortunately a bit short. The sweetness vanishes, the seasoning becomes stronger. Here I still lack the certain "something".

  4. Egge scored this whisky 87 points Expert Junior

    An incredibly delicious malt. Wow.
    • Nose
Seasoning and fruit alternate at the beginning, then dark berries (currant?)
    • Taste
At first strong, sweet fir honey, sweet and fruity, then pastry, which is replaced by oak and vanilla.
    • Finish
Medium. Bitter chocolate, spices, subtle honey.
