- Nose: light and delicate, vanilla, toffee and honey, a bit floral with mild yeastyness, also quite buttery, shortbread biscuits and some subtle fruitnotes in the background like mandarin orange, lychee and lime.
Taste: butterscotch, vanilla and shortbread cookies, an alcoholic burn (clean spirit and white pepper) which is completely absent in the nose and blocks the fruity notes a bit. Tastes a lot softer when adding some water (I would definitely recommend this).
Finish: short to medium, again the shortbread, honey, buttery, woodbitters and pepper.
To me this is by far the most interesting in the nose which is really appetizing. A bit simpler in taste and finish maybe, but a very pleasurable lowlander.
