Whisky Reviews for Caperdonich 1992 DL

2 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 88.41 points

  1. ScotchGuyTO scored this whisky 88 points Expert Senior

The complexity of Caperdonichh is astonishing when you have a great dram.  It seems like the lads at Douglas Laing picked a great cask IMO.
    • Nose
The nose on this is quiet but expressive. Hints of fruit, still stone fruits but fresher. Peach tea and hints of chalk. Bit of herbs and rich fruit syrup, vanilla and such rich sweetness.
    • Taste
Palate is spicy fruit bomb. Loads of fruits, white peach and hints of florals. Deep malt syrup and cream soda, just the slightest twinge of Speysider peat in the background. The richness of this is crazy, almost thick.
    • Finish
Finish is in the medium length, loads of vanilla creamer anglaise and preserved stone fruits. Some hints of berries too, more mineral and mint notes, bit of barn and composting sweetness.
