Whisky Reviews for Glen Elgin 1989 McC

1 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 88.33 points

  1. hartist scored this whisky 89 points Expert Senior

A classic Glen Elgin but perfectly controlled and balanced.
    • Nose
Ripe fruits, citrus (orange zest), vegetable and floral fragrances, beautiful spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, pepper), malt and toffee. A certain sweetness too.
    • Taste
The palate is powerful, round and rich with a creamy consistency, a floral style but with matter, a touch of bitterness that disappears, cooked and spicy fruit, malty notes and a little caramelized sugar.
    • Finish
Rather long, sweet and spicy, finally, a veil of ash smoke.
