Whisky Reviews for Glenfarclas 1976
4 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 91.25 points
- All three reviews below are likely to be from the same person and completely unreliable.
- The rating is a bit over the top here, but the nose is his own and at first almost unpleasant, but he has a great variety in his mouth and is pretty full for 43%, so he cracks the 90!
Pooh, first pure coffee grounds with a mountain bitter chocolate rasps in it, crass for only 20 years, in addition quite musty, damp wine cellar, cep, burned BBQ, old, wet leather, later also dates, black walnut, black truffle and lavender, black tea and sweet licorice
Ahoy Tannins! First, you have pure, noble leather, dark chocolate and mahogany potion in the start for 8-10 seconds, then the great surprise, it jumps to a really beautiful fruit with fine acid, bright raisins, dates, baked apple, apricot in dark honey, saffron, sweet Licorice, Rosemary, Lavender, Earl Gray, Parchment, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Touch of black pepper
Again bitter, dark malt, leather, chestnut, gingerbread, nutmeg and tannins, long
- Thermidor have you reported this to Admin/moderators yet, they need to know along with your other highlights.
