Wonderfully full and fruity. Light fruits, vanilla, citrus notes. In the mouth, oak joins, not intrusive but determined. The finish is spicy, with oak, liquorice and some fruity sweetness. A beautiful, old Bourbon barrel whisky.

Run of the mill indie bottling. Water helped but not all that much.
    • Nose
Strong banana notes mixed with vanilla and quite some freshly sawn wood/sawdust. Rather generic actually. Water needed: Turns it a bit spirity which is rather welcome. Then it gets a little candied, still mostly on banana though. Maybe a hint of unripe plums.
    • Taste
For me unbearably oaky when neat. Water has diminished the oak quite a bit. Vanilla mixed with butter cream and some bitter fruit in there, before the oak kicks in again. Gets a little bit drying before the end.
    • Finish
Long enough. Liquroice and honey in the after taste.

Tarty raisin pear salty malts ... pretty sweet in the back somewhat bitter ... in the back some caramel! Very cool

Another nice Glen Keith from 1992 but a tad too grassy on the finish for me.
    • Nose
Fruits (banana, pear), spices, varnish. A bit alcoholic on the nose.
    • Taste
Creamy. Pear again, apple, peach. Pepper.
    • Finish
      Medium, a bit grassy.

SO and not otherwise I like Glen Keith. Bourbon barrel, no smoke and well-integrated alcohol.
    • Nose
It hits you directly against the vanilla hammer, along with it you get a bag full of candies and a mix of oranges, lemons and apples, the vanilla is then a little in the background and the fruits are becoming more tropical, no alcohol disturbs the whole, an oily to creamy feeling comes on the nose
    • Taste
Here, too, a nice start with a lot of vanilla, all very fresh and summery, a feeling like slightly angegorener apple juice or as Federweisser, a slight tingling but surrounded by beautiful creaminess without dryness or too strong alcohol
    • Finish
Here, for the first time, a touch of oak, but it is again directly displaced by vanilla and yellow juicy fruits, a slightly grassy to kräutrige trace comes here

A nice whisky with a clearl taste of ex-borbon barrels. For me, the nose was the most fascinating here.
    • Nose
Sweet and fresh, like white wine. All in all "bright" aroma. White sugar, oppulent raisins and lemon. The spicy hints of savory and old wood. Freshly cut grass and wet cork.
    • Taste
Very strong oak dominates the taste. Very herbal or spicy. Also sweetness. Not so much fruitiness, but some ripe apples, vanilla, maybe cocos and also bourbon in the background.
    • Finish
Bitterness from remain a bit longer, however, more a feeling than tastes stays. Some spicy saltiness on the tongue.
