Drinks surprisingly well even without water
    • Nose
lightly burnt sticky fruitcake with dates, spicy, sherry notes and the scent of chocolate cookies directly from the oven, the Distillery character comes out pretty, quite harmonious for his age slightly burnt Sticky Fruitcake with dates, spicy, sherry notes and the scent of chocolate chip cookies straight from the oven, the distilleries style comes out very nice, quite harmonious for his age
    • Taste
clear sherry sweetness and some smoke, compact, spicy with well-integrated alcohol, roasted chestnuts and some bitter orange marmalade, very subtle latte, with water comes through some pepper clear sherry sweetness and some smoke, compact, spicy with well integrated alcohol, roasted chestnut and slightly bitter orange jam, a hint of caffiene latte, with water a bit pepper
    • Finish

I do not like to dilute whiskys. I think they must be undiluted, but this whisky clearly wins. I like it a lot, but it lacks an autonomy. There are many like him. The best is the very clear chocolate note on the finish, which is great.
    • Nose
It starts with fresh notes, apples, grass, hay, even some mint, woodruff, followed by darker notes, strawberries and plums, earthy notes mingling with it, slightly alcoholic With water it becomes much more fruity, peaches and sherry show up. But also spicy wood becomes clearer.
    • Taste
Strong onset, first sweet and then tingling dryness, sharpness, oak, not as complex as in the nose. I rarely dilute with water, but it needs a few drops. Better, not so spicy, sweeter, the oak remains present, but to come now fruits such as peaches, bitter oranges and dark chocolate.
    • Finish
Chocolate with a high cocoa content. Oak, slightly softer with water, medium to long.

    Thanks Sebastiaan!
    • Nose
Floral - roses, very fruity - exotic fruits - guave and banana. Orange, strawberries and some fudge.
    • Taste
Fruity - wild peach, pine resin, almond paste, coffee and spices.
    • Finish
Medium drying with spices - pepper, tea, chocolate and marzipan.

    • Taste
      Powerfull, burning, chocolade, sherried flavors
    • Finish
Medium, spicy with a sweetness to it.

My first whisky from this distillery and a really nice experience.
    • Nose
The quintessence of Christmas cake - vanilla, sweetness, fruits - dates, prunes, raisins. Sweet and spicy with a little hint of smoke.
    • Taste
Sherry profile with all the dark fruits hinted by the nose + some dark chocolate, a little smokiness and loads of spices - ginger, cinnamon, pepper, chilli. Not too complex but quite interesting.
    • Finish
Medium to long, very sweet at first with the 'cake' notes dominating. Gradually it becomes more and more spicy leaving peppery aftertaste.
