This is a Christmas bourbon! I like it really well. There is something to sniff around here. But, I'm glad to have another closed bottle there. Although barrel 315, will probably be a bit different, but the quality is probably right and the best, the bottle cost me only € 45. :)
    • Nose
Glue is not really there, reminds me here more of spruce needle or even better it hits resin from the conifer (as you know it from the Christmas tree), but only slightly and fit into the overall picture. Christmas is now with gingerbread, this spicy dark dough with nuts and honey. Vanilla and dark caramel is also included. This is followed by some orange, a few dried flowers and real beeswax candles. After the first sip, the orange and the caramel become much clearer and push the other flavors backwards
    • Taste
Strong onset, starts oily and sweet, but immediately spicy, light pepper with a mix of nuts. Caramelized oranges with a little vanilla.
    • Finish
Mint with caramel, some spruce needle comes through, dark caramelized nuts, which exactly? Can not say, as in the mouth, it is more of a mix. There is still something in there, but I can not describe at all in which direction that works. On the whole medium-length finish, only a vanilla creamy honey note remains tender longer in the mouth.

    An insider's Bourbon, rather "strong"
    • Nose
Powerful, ideal mix of alcohol, rye and cinnamon (I thought it was a Rye on opening)
    • Taste
Powerful too, ideal suite of the nose, complex (much more than the Original). The wood is good, the spices are ready to pounce ...
    • Finish
Very long for a Bourbon, wood, apple, caramel, and spices that stay long, very long
