There comes the dilemma with the points spread: of course, this Rye (?) Is not an absolute complexity, but rather trumps with clear structures. But in relation to many 12yo standards with a diffuse barrel background, it now offers much more. Compared to his peers, he would probably have earned 90 points or more. Congratulation to the French Alps for this successful enjoyment!
    • Nose
After admiring the paint, which was so pure in the barrels for a short time, this little guy developed a wonderful palette for the nose: a little bit of typical new make from the swollen grains, but by no means the food poison that I already had to catch on other youngsters. Enzian and other alpine herbs have a harmonious effect on the rounding off. The fuel tubes were probably already used for plum production, which gives a pleasing background.
    • Taste
Nothing bothers you, the varied alpine ingredients season strongly. Some flesh of plum.
    • Finish
The gentian root greets, the Alpine herbs round, cinnamon tastes, cereals mix with. What is there to criticize at all? Nothing, everything mixed together by the marmot error-free.

    Tasting advice: to drink chambered
    Tasting notes:
    Copper color
NOSE: Iodé with subtle flavors of anise, fine and gentian.
MOUTH: very smooth and supple in attack, in an atmosphere of bread oven and patisserie, first cereal it becomes prune.
FINAL: in length and in spices, pepper, cardamom, licorice and tobacco.

Nose, very marked by the sensation "water of life", it reminds me of the old plum of my uncle
On the palate, rather mellow, we feel the cereal but very marked by the prune, too preponderant for my taste Final, perhaps the most interesting part, it is quite long, and spicy, rather elegant after the nose too aggressive
My opinion all but objective, a beautiful discovery that makes me want to wait for more pronounced aging to find feelings of more marked whiskey
I think a second try will be necessary after leaving the bottle some time to rest.
