88/100. I really like the interaction of the vanilla-orange-herbal triumvirate.
    • Nose
Reminiscent of the Balvenie Double Wood, but less sweet and with more herbs. However, it has the same sweet sweetness of vanilla, intertwined with aromatic oranges. In addition, earthy herbs. Ginger Beer. Lemon peel. Chocolate. Sage. Gentle black tea. Flowery. Cappuccino.
    • Taste
sweet, fruity, herbs. Velvety, vanilla pop on the palate. Toffee in addition. Oranges, going to the bitter. Fresh cereal. Anise. Sage. Velvety fruity-sweet with this subtle, aromatic herbal note.
    • Finish
Dark vanilla strong on the palate. Sweet, with slightly bitter notes. (Chocolate, espresso, caramel). Anise and sage remain in the mouth for the longest time and miss the whole thing a herbal sugar finish

One of the best value for money whiskies I know of. Its $100 for 1L in duty free, the only problem being limited to 2 liters.
    • Nose
Fruity sultanas, apples oranges, greengage plums, sherry, vanilla, floral. Really lovely nose.
    • Taste
The taste does not disappoint, it is inline with the nose. The fruit sweetness is balanced out with green oak, and grass. The sherry is quite background, honey. All very harmonious.
    • Finish
      Long fading lemon zest.

It's a bit of an in-betweener. Not exactly a light summer dram, but far from a dark and heavy winter whisky too. Nicely balanced.
    • Nose
A mixture of milk chocolate, mild raisins and figs with some more fresh, almost tropical fruits like oranges and nectarine. Slightly flowery.
    • Taste
The mouthfeel is a little thinner than I'd like. Mocha, coffee, fudge and slightly woody too. Some cinnamon and earl gray, combined with red apple and lemon peel.
    • Finish
Some soft tannins and vanilla with a thin layer of orchard fruits. Medium in length.
