THE Family owned business of Douglas Laing and Company Limited have selected for this "KING OF SCOTS" Flagon, only the Finest Whiskeys from Scotland's Distilleries to be aged in wood for a minimum of 25 Years. Prior to theses flagons being hand-filled the whiskeys are allowed to "marry" for months, in wood, to guarantee the discerning palate a satisfaction few people have experienced.
Based on the dark color and the strongly sherry-heavy taste, this can only have been a "sherry finish"!
My decanter weighed 1294 grams and after opening it showed that the filling level had not suffered at all over the years and still contained 74cl! top!
