    This can really tempt me.
    • Nose
Sherry-like, fruity, mineral, wet grass.  All in all pretty good!  It's not an agressive nose.  After some breathing I smell a bit of banana from the bourbon barrel.
    • Taste
Ditto, with water it becomes sweeter, fruitier, oily.  Is that a hint of peat or is it the bourbon influence?  It's really nice!  After a few sips and swirling the whisky in my mouth it becomes somewhat 'spicy', punchy and I taste more grains.
    • Finish
      Medium long, sweet, fresh.

Somehow the 70 cl version was never added before. Now it's on here under ID 61205.

    Very, very nice
Glenlivet, but handle with care when adding water.
    • Nose
      Very creamy nose on
loads of vanilla, honey and oak. Then some banana and citrus follow in equal
measures. A juicy pear with loads of cavaillon (melon). Barbapapa! Remember
this? That candy sugar, of course. Marshmallows wrapped in white chocolate. Wonderful.
With a little water it becomes sharper with some more oak. Not sure that was
      such a good idea.
    • Taste
      It is also very
creamy and sweet on the palate, with the citrusy notes taking charge. Loads of
spices from the oak, now. Ginger, aniseed and white pepper. This is big! It
does not really need water, but let me add just a splash. This makes the citrus
      fruit stand out even more.
    • Finish
      The finish on citrus
and ginger is long, with a lot of liquorice on the deathbed.

  5. Banzai scored this whisky 86 points Expert Senior

    • Nose
Fresh, sweet nose, a whole fruit cocktail flies through my nostrils (banana, mango, pineapple, peach) than some vanilla and some grassy notes
    • Taste
I taste herbs, mint, pepper and some wood in the background, then it gets sweeter with vanilla and caramel, then citrus fruit, especially red grapefruit
    • Finish
Medium finish with a certain bitterness (tonic) and then soft, oak-ripened grappa.

  6. Erik Elixir scored this whisky 80 points Connoisseur

N: bourbon fruits, creamy, ginger, white chocolate, sugar, malty and a bit sharp
T: sharp, later fruity, candy with some forest fruits, mint and crème brûlée
F: earth, some meat, gravy, lot`s of vanilla and later olive oil
HWF VBT-4 sample 3 tasted with Aby and JQ

  7. getz scored this whisky 83 points Expert Junior

This is the March 2013 edition of Glenlivet`s ongoing 16 year old series, Nadurra. Bottled at cask strength and aged in first fill American oak, this is a bold but sweet whisky.

  8. getz scored this whisky 83 points Expert Junior

    Colour: Bright Gold.

Nose: A fresh summer-like medley of floral and sweet spice aromas enhanced by gentle notes of toasted oak.

Palate: Smooth and silky with the sweetness of soft fruits and honeyed flowers.

Finish: A dry, oak finish of considerable length with notes of ginger and hazelnuts.

  9. zinaf scored this whisky 89 points Expert Senior

If the nose was as complex as the palate, this would have earned a deserved 90 mark.

What a great surprise was this whisky. I had read a lot about the goodness that is to come from Nadurra but never expected this much. Highly recommended.
    • Nose
Immediate vanilla; the alcohol is noticeable at this strength; creamy fudge; caramel candy

      With water: vanilla icing sugar
    • Taste
      Wow, what a flavoursome sensation. Extreme intensity of aromas. Packed with flavour. Excellent body. It is just tempting not add any water at all but after a few sips the palate takes some damage. Sweet; vanilla; toffee; touch of lemon grass; cherry; Savoury notes (lovage; summer savoury); Rapeseed oil;

With water - sweet fruit (wild raspberries).
    • Finish
      Medium; a tad drying; citrus; forest fruits;
