No 08/15 drops! This Bruichladdich is a typical striking statement of Islay. And I can not help it - I smell and taste light smoke, although expressly unpeated ... Something Port Charlotte smashed into the batch? ;)
After a slightly smoky and spicy-salty sea breeze and a fruity note adds malty sweetness and vanilla, after adding water, a little more fruit and earthy notes.
Strong alcohol, with a little water then much milder, the malty sweetness lays on the tongue and spicy oak and very complex, powerful aromas spread throughout the mouth. Add a touch of smoke with heather - great!
Sweet caramel and tart oak notes combine to form a beautiful long finish, and again traces of smoke
