Bottle: 1958 40% [70 proof]‘A different world’
N: Possibly a 50/50 malt/grain ratio and around 5-6yo which was a ‘Deluxe’ age back in the day. So,.. we are straight in the most vibrant and clear notes of vanilla and strawberry Tutti Fruity, icepops, sweet cider and Cornettos: mint, chocolate and raspberry flavours. Fabulous start.
T: Dazzling power for 40% but one that doesn’t favour any additional water. Moorish umami comprising salty malt, some peat and a far reaching oak influence for its modest years.
F: Fresh=sweet, mild-bitter malt finish with a touch of earthy compost.
C: Its a different world compared with our modern times and a blend that performs well on every level.
