At the heart of this blend is the Islay classic Laphroaig, whose primal force is tamed by Maltrs from Speyside and the Highlands. First choice for a hearty barbecue on the beach.
    • Nose
At first a slightly piercing nose, from which notes of limes / limes develop. These are accompanied by some malt, a small dustiness, a good portion of smoke and a not uninteresting mild coolness. Water can flash a short maritime freshness, but this whiskey but otherwise harm, lime / lime, smoke, malt, everything still there.
    • Taste
Everything the island is made of ... smoke, tar, citrus, wood, vanilla. In addition, small notes of grass and a subtle sweetness, coupled with subtle sharpness. A little water sharpens the flavor profile: the smoke of a beach fire, freshly squeezed lemon juice, a knife tip scraped out vanilla bean, maritime saltiness and pungency of pepper.
    • Finish
Again, Islay at it's best. Smoke, small industrial notes, sweetened lime, some wood. Peppery pungency covers hints of charcoal. Even in the finish, this blend with water can not handle. the smoke is good and irony next to a healthy "chili-catch", oak pigeons wrestle with lemon notes and minimal hints of dryness around their place next to the smoky sharpness.

This is a fresh very summery dram. Nothing fancy but the limes are really very strong
    • Nose
Sweet vanilla. Sugary sweetness. Some citrus spiciness. Maybe pepper. Chemical smell like acetone

Water softens the heat from the alcohol. More limes and freshness, now some woodiness comes through
    • Taste
Alcohol first. Then vanilla with bitter lemons. Finish very cigar box.

Lemons, limes and bitter rinds. Chocolate and vanilla. Green limes all the way.
    • Finish
Lemon perfume. Very short. Nothing lingering or developing.

The limes are really strong now. Leaves the mouth with some cigar flavours.
