    Great bourbon, price ok, funny nonsensical corrugated board.

    [F] copper;
    • Nose
      soft, spicy, distinct grain flavors, delicate vanilla;
    • Taste
      strong, voluminous, spicy onset, complex, oak, vanilla, caramel;
    • Finish
      long, sweet, persistent finish;

    I have had this before, it's a good price for a single barrel and it's very drinkable but nothing unusual.
    • Nose
      Lots of vanilla, fig rolls, a little bit of cinnamon, cinder toffee, marzipan, peaches and cream, and roasted coffee.
    • Taste
      A chalky mouth feel to it, those fig rolls again, blood orange and orange peel, some oak as well and slight tobacco.
    • Finish
      Again lots of vanilla on the finish with a little coconut on the death. The finish isn't strong though.

    I took a bottle on my holiday to Iceland, and I really enjoyed it in the middle of the wilderness. Bang-for-your-buck for a single barrel expression.
    • Nose
      Candied apples. Coconuts and cherries. Marzipan. Turkish Delight as well. Hints of vanilla. Some honey. A light floral touch of freesias.
    • Taste
      Rye spices intermingled with butterscotch and cocoa. Bitter chocolate. Espresso coffee. Cedar wood. Also orange peel. Pine at the background.
    • Finish
      Medium long. Hints of citrus fruit (lemon). Clove and a little nutmeg. Sappy and chewy.Spearmint. At the end more bitterness.
