    • Nose

Grassy, minerals, touch of salt and a little wood influence. Limestone. This is a bit of a lighter style of whisky, but with some good notes in here. Not for starters on the whisky journey.
    • Taste
      85 85
Little sweet and sour sauce, some caramel sweets and hard fruity candy. Although after a while the tannins as creeping up.
    • Finish
      84 84
Medium length. A tad bitter, a little peppery and woody. Some sweet caramel notes too.

    • Nose
A big bourbon influence. Peach, lime, pear, orange, vanilla, strawberry and fig. In the long run some caramel.
    • Taste
Apricot, orange, lime, pepper, caramel, vanilla and blueberry. A little banana and peanut as well.
    • Finish
Orange, caramel, lime and roasted almond.

  5. BottleBox scored this whisky 85 points Expert Junior

A very nice balanced Speyside. No smoke, but vieeeeel taste
    • Nose
Vanilla, caramel, some citrus, green malt, anise, bell pepper, butter cookies
    • Taste
Instant anise and malt, then a fine vanilla-caramel biscuit. Evolves to milk chocolate
    • Finish
Medium long and very tasty. The Bourbon barrel shows itself in all its splendor

  6. DunklerRabe scored this whisky 82 points Expert Junior

Easy to drink, quite alright whisky for under €50.
    • Nose
Very strong pear aroma, haven't experienced that in any other whisky with this intensity. Interesting!
    • Taste
Sweet-ish with a little bit of fruit, balanced against some oak bitterness and spicyness.
    • Finish
      Rather short, nothing too special.

    A very tasty dram indeed.
    • Nose
Zesty and vibrant – lemon rind, sherbet, marshmallows, sweet caramel, chocolate biscuits and fresh saw dust.
    • Taste
Soft and sweet – candyfloss, vanilla fudge, creamy toffee, orange peel and lemon meringue.
    • Finish
Sweet citrus notes balanced by some gentle, oaky spices.
