    Tip: Virgin Oak, 43-46% and very delicious! ;-)
    I like it really well - great intense, dangerously tasty, sweet and spicy - and the PLV is also more than correct. It may be that he wins another point. My mini-sample was simply not enough for a detailed study of the beautiful malt. That's why it's got to be a big bottle.

    • Finish
      medium; wonderfully sweet with roasted aromas that last a long time, caramel, pear, warm banana ...

    Nose: vanilla, sweet vanilla, even sweeter vanilla, a little glue, depending on the distance to the glass before the first sip also stronger adhesive notes, after the first sip you will find delicious exotic fruits together with fruity sweetness and light spicy oak, green jasmine tea, intense orange blossom - One may not take the nose away, the adhesive notes are completely gone, the nose is a dream Taste: round, syrupy viscous, honey sweetness, sweet malt, fresh woody notes with a light spiciness, probably from the wood a quite strong tingling on the tongue which remains even after the finish.     Outstanding for that period of maturation time.
    Outstanding for that age.
    Outstanding for that price. 

    It seems that the maturation in virgin wood is the key point: All those maltheads, that don't love whiskies fully aged or finished in virgin wood will tend to give few points and all the others might come out with votings like mine. Just swallowed a 0.1 litre sample.
    Full bottle is underway. That's good. Really good.

    Full tasting review will follow after the next test. I have to add the information that I generally get off on virgin oak maturation or finishes, that might explain the high rating.

    Delicious! This malt captures the sweet basic character of Benriach very nicely and builds its strengths. 88/100. Tasty! This paints builds nicely on the sweet character of BenRiach and enhances it's virtues. 88/100

      Wonderfully sweet, dark, fruity. Vanilla, heavy forest honey, baked bananas and apples. A trail of spicy-sweet flower nectar. More vanilla. Dark, aromatic, intense. A trace of spearmint. Wonderfully sweet, dark, fruity. Vanilla, heavy wild honey, baked bananas and apples. A hint of spicy-sweet nectar. Even more vanilla, dark, aromatic, intense. A little bit of spearmint.

      sweet. Aromatic, sweet vanilla. Toasted aromas, caramel. Baked, bright fruits. Condensed milk. Panna cotta. Spiciness, cardamom. Grated coconut. Dark honey. Sweet. Aromatic, sweet vanilla. Toasted notes, caramel. Again baked fruits like bananas, apples. Condensed milk. Panna cotta. Spicyness, like cardamom. Coconut flakes. Dark honey.

      Long, sweet, roasted finish. Baked apples covered with honey. Spicy vanilla, as if the spice were hanging on the palate. Great. White chocolate. Condensed milk. Spicy forest honey. Long, sweet, toasted aftertaste. Baked apples with honey coating. Spicy vanilla, as if you tasted the actual spice. Nice! White chocolate. Condensed milk. Spicy wild honey.

    Very complex for 13 years, where you have to deal with the sweetness on the tongue.

      A luscious nose with black cherries, blackcurrants, blackberries, red grapes. Vanilla, nutmeg, some cinnamon. Nice tight.
    • Taste
      Very sweet and pleasing to start, Em-Eukal with cherry flavor. Vanilla aroma, fresh wood, nutmeg, pepper, allspice, cinnamon, coriander. Berries from a nose in a weakened form.

      Medium-long and dry, vanilla, woody, tart honey, a malty note.

      Intensiv und cremig. Rosinen, Vanille. Reife Birnen, Aprikosen und Pfirsiche. Marzipan, Mandeln, Walnuss. Etwas nasses Holz, feuchte Erde und Schilf.

      Birnen, Pfirsiche, Traubenkerne. Eine Spur Pfeffer. Mousse au Chocolat mit Orangenlikör. Angenehm bittere Nussigkeit. Mittellang.
