Nice spirit driven Whisky. Quite interesting.
Very spicy with a hint of pepper. Some banana skin and a little bit of vanilla fudge. Slightly oily and a hint of shoe polish. Maybe some tobacco. A very quiet yet substantial nose. takes some time to work it out.
Initially oily and lemony. Turns quite dry after that, with some heavy spice, oranges and some nice herbal notes. There is a strong sweetness all throughout the taste, but it is not overbearing. Good bitterness in the end. Super intense spirit driven taste.
Short to medium but that is not a problem. The taste is the main event here. Strong oily sweetness in the after taste.
- WITH WATER
Nose - , more refined but the lemon and cream are still evident.
Palate - Creamier but still spirit on lemon meringue pie.
Finish - medium now.
Pretty decent stuff but you have to like sweet lemon or you are wasting your time.
Lemon, brine, shortbread biscuit, cleaning fluid, turps.
Spirity on lemon, cream, sherbet, slight bitterness, biscuit again and lockets throat lozengas.
Long on lemon cream, quite sweet
