    A light and medium body.
    • Nose
Spicy ( cinnamon, walnut, sandalwood) with some flowery sweetness. Fresh. A whiff of the sea. Enticing.
    • Taste
Spicy flowery and malty-sweet tones that are creamy, almost buttery. Hint of bananas.
    • Finish
      Long and rounded.

A very fresh and open whisky that I reminds me of spring. It's a little sweet, but not like those sherry matured whiskies. I taste vanilla, grass and not-overwhelming flowers (very soft in the background). I don't find this dram complex or special, but it's definitely not a bad whisky. I'm not sure if I'll ever buy myself a bottle, but I might try an older, maybe more complex, one of this distillery.

    My 3 dram rate: 82

A solid all-day dram for lovers of non-smoky whiskys. However, rather simplistic than complex. My first whisky I bought was a Lagavulin 16, which did not last for three months. I bought the Glenmorangie 10 in 2001 and the bottle will probably last 1-2 years. Personally, I simply miss a little the "special" of this malt.
    • Nose
At first impression citrus fruits. Not superficially sour, but rather sweet: mixed with apple and pear. Caramel and vanilla notes provide a rather velvety, mild nose. If necessary, minimal smoke in the background.
    • Taste
At first superficially alcohol, then oak and a certain sharpness, which passes slowly over vanilla notes in a creamy sweetness that is reminiscent of dark fruit flavors. The oak taste remains intact.
    • Finish
Medium long, not too complex. Oak, vanilla, dark fruit flavors. No noticeable smoke.

OK. A whisky for every evening. Always tastes. But not very good. Just too shallow.
