when drinking a bit of the cheap rice wine idea in mind.

We often drank the kakubin in the bars in Yokohama. He is easy, cheap and tasty, but he is interesting for me. In Japan, there's the supermarket for a handful of yen, around 20-25 euros. Nevertheless, we liked this swap. There are different lid colors. We found the yellow best. I find the weak rating a bit unfair. Have already drunk many more expensive, who have less fun. I'd rather drink 100x than 1x Jim Murray's fuseltip: Crown Royal Northern Harvest Rye, which was about the same price, until a few months ago. The yellow Kakubinist least drinkable, my wife loves him. You have to drink about 2 bottles until you have a list. hehe. Degree an alcohol monster he is not 40%. Goes almost as a peg for babies. On Neudeutsch Is crass dise, can not drink goose pulle nothing, why? No algohol has? Doooch has 40 breads, is nothing nix file. Is good for grandma and aunty drinking dise, gants crass you!

    ‘A Vodka oddity’

N: Faint orange floral nose.  Nutty caramel and bourbon sugars, young citrus and pear - a combination of mature youthfulness. Its very Highland like. Also, hints of saline, but overall this is a subtle malty floral number. However, just before sipping i got a strong waft of vodka
T: …leading to a thin and light vodka arrival and a touch of sloe gin too. A consistent thread of white pepper is laced through the entire development and finish. Caramel here obviously [40% abv] and bubblegum notes equalled by sour lemon and refined white sugar.  Malty too, very like AnCnoc 12.  Also, over cooked, soft, stewed chillis that have marinated in a sauce for some days along with over cooked Okra.
F: Bubblegum notes are stronger on the finish, matched my salty sour citrus. Short/medium finish, lingering.  Peppery caramel at the death. I did say short to medium finish but like the chilli throbbing after a good curry, theres a similar spicy pulsating effect on the palate minutes after sipping, quite unusual
C:  This isn’t a great whisky but it is certainly an unusual, fascinating and educational one. It has its moments too - that candid vodka note is pleasing in this example and the balance between the spice, sour citrus and sugar is good. Overall though its totally underpowered and rather an oddity. Certainly not the worst whisky I’ve come across by any stretch and a lot more entertaining than many popular malts.

    Scores a C+
