- A really good Islay whisky.
more clearly and (if there is such a thing) fresh peat smoke, slightly alcohol, then wood
slightly oily, dominant smoke, noticeable malt spiciness, peppery spiciness, fruits
quite short, fading taste a bit like ash

- Still a very decent standard bottling.
Peat, dark chocolate, lime, peach, salt and a whiff of a horse stable. Nice balance.
Peat, sweet lime, chocolate and smoked cod. A little salt & pepper and a whiff of ammonia. A bit too diluted in the long run.
Mainly peat with some spice, not so much of the fruitiness that is quite prominent in the nose.
