Whisky Reviews for Bunnahabhain 2007 BM

- has a clear nose note - does not bother, but is noticeable - looks older than the label - very interesting dram - I was never so close to NewSpirit on it :)
- Bunnahabhain 2007-2012, 60.7% alc. Region: Islay, Scotland
Bottler: Big Market, Berlin
Again a Big Market bottled single malt whisky with quite strong cask strength of 60,7%.
Nose: Young and smoky, although the peat smoke is not very strong and rather a little flowery and soapy. The single malt looks extremely fresh, airy and slightly sweet. After some time, notes of dark biscuits and lye pastries develop. Behind it, the smoke slowly builds up, accompanied by pizzas (thyme, oregano).
Palate: Strong spicy, grilled marmalade, banana and malt. The first impression is strong.
Finish: really very strong onset, super long and warming with notes of camp fire smoke, in the end remains on the tongue the taste of bananas.
Conclusion: Great Bunnahabhain and who still comes to a bottle should secure this!
