    Conclusion and pictures on: https://tomtrinkt.de
    • Nose
Surprisingly multi-faceted. At the beginning, I perceive a pronounced floral-fruity note. Floral aromas, dark forest honey, crème brûlée, plenty of caramel, subtle candle wax and echoes of exotic fruits dominate my first impressions. The basic character is pleasantly light, but without being powerless, very fresh and balanced. In the background I already register the first spicy oak notes and a maritime flavor, which reminds me of a fresh sea breeze. Makes you want to more!
    • Taste
Very pleasing the Clynelish clothes the entire mouth (creamy texture), before a fruity-spicy interplay begins. The alcohol content of 46% ensures a powerful onset, at the tip of the tongue creates a very slight tingle (Pfeffrigkeit). Vanilla, caramel, dark forest honey, orange peel, apricot and malt dominate the fruity-sweet side. The spicy-maritime side is characterized by spices (cloves, a hint of cinnamon), walnuts, spicy oak notes and salt (sea breeze).
    • Finish
Medium long, warm and spicy. The floral-fruity aromas build up with the last of their strength, before a strong conglomeration of spices, hints of herbs and oak is gaining in tasteful upper water. The result is a slight dryness and a delicate bitterness on the palate.

already pleasantly sour and quite interesting, but not quite my taste.
    • Nose
Lime, green apple, a bit grassy, wax ?, little oak
    • Taste
sweet at once, then distinctly Granny Smith apple (but one that is not yet ripe and leaves a "dull" feeling), a sharpness that I would put somewhere in the mint
    • Finish
medium (5/10), dry and slightly salty

  5. Joe Karacho scored this whisky 86 points Expert Junior

A beautiful, dense, very round and harmonious and not so mild Highlander, it took a few drams until I found access, but now it opens to me, why he has many followers
    • Nose
Citrus fruits, floral notes, honey, cereals, slightly salty
    • Taste
Full and oily, sweetish-bitter, creme brulee with orange peel and some cinnamon, bourbon vanilla
    • Finish
Medium long, the dark citrus fruit paired with some oak take over the finish

  10. Calmar scored this whisky 86 points Connoisseur

A pleasant basic mole with a beautiful aroma, rich in shades and semitones, refreshing taste and aftertaste, "semi-dry" - there is sweetness, but completely invisible, shading fresh sourness.
    • Nose
Light, refreshing, green apples, wax, mineral tones - dry cobblestones, grindstone, herbal notes, lemonade, dry crushed grain, in the background - carpentry workshop, varnish, solvent, furniture polish and again a wave of freshly cut juicy green apple peel with a barely perceptible presence of raisins.
    • Taste
Wax, apple juice, bitter taste of apple seeds, ginger, orange.
    • Finish
Ginger-pepper on an acidic apple juice, fresh, invigorating, with a slight hint of warming up, but it still remains rather cool, long enough.
