Taketsuru Pure Malt is a well balanced, smooth, simple and easy drinkable whisky. I gave 84 points.
- Interesting nose, rather typical Japanse, and quite different from Scotch malts. Quite fruity and sweet in the nose.
The palate is quite clean and rather flat.
The finish is very short, and not much noteworthy tastes.
First sip or two are nice, but it is a on the taste and finish a bit too blank, making it a bit of a slightly boring dram. However, for 30€ in a French supermarket, a good price-quality ratio
