This one was open and exposed to oxygen for a long time, perhaps this is what helped it develop real nice.
    • Nose
Rich notes of dark sherry, it's packed with ripe red fruits, berries, prunes, raisins, chocolate, coffee beans and demerara sugar. Great nose.
    • Taste
Rich, thick, meaty. Notes of beef, ham, tons of red fruits, toffee, chocolate and coffee. Slightly spicy, mature for its age.
    • Finish
Quite long, a bit too hot, but very fruity till the end. No alcohol or bitterness.

Sherry, red wine but all gently, a little closed. Leave him time. A hint of coffee too. Later, nuts. Sweet (sweet) and full-bodied at the same time. Not so spicy. His relative youth does not show. A final a little sulfur. He is very good and I force myself to add water. No revolution on the horizon except that I find the identity of the distillery in the mouth, this maritime side that may have been buried with additional years spent in casks.
    Enthusiasm 4/5

amber color, expressive nose, very marked brown sugar, caramel, toffee, dried Christmas fruit, some spices, some sulfur. Mouth quite sweet for 56%, sweet, easy, a little more sulfur, a nutty side in addition to the aromas of the nose. Finale long enough, drier, more spicy, a little sulfur too. Even more sulfur after a few months.

A very nice nose without any sulpher, but to much sulpher on the palate for me. Tasted it three days in a row and the first day I liked it the least. Looks like when getting some oxigen, it becomes more mellow. One thing is sure for me, I liked the last bourbon barrel from the MoS much more.

Beautiful sulfur note, could go smoothly as Glenrothes or Glendronach. The basic character of Bruichladdich is barely detectable. With some water absolutely round malt.

Great Sherrybomb! Lots of sulphur, but the "good" sulphur. Well done again MoS.
