- It goes against my taste, this oriental, but also with beautiful fruit and almost perfumed nose, yummy.
Beautiful nose, dried apricots, peaches as well, to Mediterranean herbs such as lavender, rosemary, thyme, camphor, nutmeg, saffron, licorice, has almost something perfumed with deeper inhalation, cedar, red apple, brown sugar
Incense sticks, peaches dried with herbs, great herbal honey, Mediterranean, lavender, rosemary, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, nuts, leather, raisins, yellow plums, cherries, Christstollen, grapefruit peel, licorice
Camphor, yellow plums, tannins, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, lavender, medium-long, dry-herbaceous
Pleasantly fruity and spicy. Oranges. Citrus fruits. Peaches. A pinch of freshly ground pepper. Caramel. Again and again alcohol notes flash up, which could close on young barrels. At the same time, the malt has matured due to a large portion of oak bitterness. This interplay, these corners and edges make the whisky interesting.
Sweet start with a lot of spice. Honey. Caramel. Pepper. Ginger. Peaches. Oak.
Medium. Peaches. A lot of oak flavor, but also a decent alcohol sting. The finish is unfortunately a bit disappointing compared to the nose and the taste.

- A friend of mine wrote 'Barad Dur' on the sample bottle he sent me. Does anyone have the One Ring and a map to Mount Doom? Because I want to bring this new wood tower down.
- A bit disappointed, I've come to hold Bunnahabhain to a very high standard and this just didn't live up to it. I found the palate and finish to be very flat.
There was a bit of a young spirit bite at first but I just let it sit and after about 10 min it calmed down. Big rich wood up front, definitely some older whisky in here too. Creme brulee. Toffee. Orange peel. Dark chocolate. Vanilla essence (the bottled stuff not pods). Sultanas. Stewed pears. Gingerbread. Cinnamon sticks.
Wood. More wood. Woodspice. Citrus juice. Liquorice. Cinnamon. Schweppes Bitter Lemon. Some aged rum notes. Toast.
Medium-long. Bitter citrus. Dry wood. Bit of honey and more woodspice
- very interesting (in a good way), this sweet peach is amazing, dangerously tasty, no wonder it is in a 1l bottle
no smoke, but again typically "dirty"; that's what I call this note, which I always have with Bunnahabhain, and which inspires me so much at the moment. Lots of vanilla and a lot of toffee, a little bourbon-like, distant sea, brown caramel, nuts

- Blind tasting: I like the whisky very much, it reminds me of an 18 year old Braes of Glenlivet from Cooper's Choice. I think about 15 years and maturing in ex-Bourbon barrel. I put the distillery in the Speyside or Highlands. I give 85 points.
Yellow fruits, quince, lemon, spicy, neat oak, I have to think of old white wine; the whisky is complex, it is difficult to name individual flavors
Strong onset, slightly sweet and sour, again ripe yellow fruit, spicy oak, vanilla, but not sweet, but spicy
The presence of oak in the smell and taste made me expect a bitter finish, but that's not the case; Although it tastes of oak, but only with little bitterness. The finish is medium long.
