’Another superb elixir by James MacArthur’
N: Youthful peppery spirit, pineapple cubes and pear drops, wild watercress, floral rose petals, yeasty shortbread, leathery wood, blackcurrant, lemon & peach melba bubblegum, a factory/forest mustiness and a soft ash like peat note mixed with the dark fruits, thats good!
T: Rich, thick sweet and fruity [blackberry and redcurrant] mouthful. A bitter/sweet aromatic, nutty herbal fruity elixir that gives and gives. This has that super thick lozenge quality that ive come across in a few Inchgowers recently.
F: Wood bitters merge with the rich fruit sugars to create a moorish flavourful sweet, herbal tincture that leaves you satisfied. Husky, nutty saline and hints of liquid smoke at the death.
C: Almost as fabulous as the Imperial 12yo WB, also bottled by JM. Id recommend a drop of water to every other mouthful. This is an old style whisky that tastes and performs like a grand old timer.

    Scores an A-.
