Whisky Reviews for Bowmore 2003 W-F
5 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 87.14 points
- Not bad at all for the age. Very enjoyable
- tasted with Aby and J J
citrus, cookies, smoke and leather
peat, plums, pine apple and smoke
floral, pepper and citrus
- What I really like about this young Bowmore is its pronounced fruitiness! There are not only the phenolic, medical peat bombs. I also like to taste fruit notes on an Islay. And that is the case here. The Islay is not particularly "complicated"
What I mean by that is that the Bowmore is very accessible. I would also say a very good summer dram!
- full bodied young whisky. great bowmore expression.
salt, seaweed, pepper, smoke, light peat.
bitter, lemon, bacon, spicy, straw, more peat than the nose.
smoke, bitter lemon finish, salty salmon. herbs.
