T: Fabulous rich arrival with a deep, slick, viscose mouthful with a touch of deep oak charring and fresh malt in equal measure. Add a drop of water for bitter vanilla pods, bitter/sweet, jammy/tincture like qualities and curious & desirable earthy shades at times. Super stuff which if kept in the mouth becomes deliciously malty but the fresh oaky spirit is never far behind.
F: Dryish, oaky, bitter-fresh, fruity malt with slightly burned vanilla pods and a gritty/earthy, witch hazel/potato vodka finish and a touch of basmati rice at the death.
C: One doesn’t come across this style of malt very often. Although not overly complex, its a mature yet vibrant single cask malt with a rich depth that's seldom experienced. Sadly its a whisky long gone but one i could drink till the cows came home.
