Original Tasting Notes:With a light fine - gold colour this Strathisla has a full elegant nose which, with its tendancy to fruit and sweetness, could be described as toffeed - apple. Its light, medium body is quite dry initially on the palate - but it leads, surprisingly, to a big toffeed fruit and cereal finish, which runs far longer than is suggested by the initial taste. With a splash of water it all becomes fruitier - whatever, excellent after dinner.
