N: it seems rather alcoholic, with a pungent mineral note, of gunpowder. There is something dirty, however, between the too ripe orange, leather, leather. In any case, a good malty and nutty sweetness develops behind it; apricot brioche and caramelized fruit (red apples). Raisins, strudel. Do not miss spice suggestions (cinnamon). Honestly it does not go crazy, it's all a bit 'held back and dominated by that sulphurous and mineral note. Strangely dry but sherried. Sometimes you also smell alcohol. P: very special and quite alcoholic. Part very spicy, then bursts a sweetish note similar to certain rums, very woody, between the toasted peanuts and the strudel. Still raisins. In any case, it remains very alcoholic and, above all, very metallic, ferrous, rugged. The 'off notes' are wasted. Leather and cigarette tobacco, spicy and woody. F: hazelnut, iron, raisins, metallic sensations and still slightly spicy. We had high hopes for this Glen Grant, however we were disappointed. Beyond personal tastes, which do not lead us to prefer sherried dry and restrained profiles, we seemed to also meet some nuances that are not very potable, especially on the palate for the truth. Also strong of the poor consensus received at Whisynotes , we allow ourselves quietly to reject, though with education
