This Bruichladdich is characterized by an extreme creaminess. The fruity nose with this fine Butterkeksaroma goes in the taste in slightly smoky and bitter wood. An interesting and delicious whisky, great!
    • Nose
Sweet Sherry immediately mixes with fruity apricot. Butter biscuits mix with delicious vanilla. From the creamy butter rises a slight hint of smoke, a light orange aroma is added. A very subtle peat note lies over the complete nose. The 50% alcohol content is harmoniously integrated.
    • Taste
Creamy and buttery, the first sip begins, then the spicy oak beats. Fine tart wood tones play with light fruit, cold smoke is in the air. spicy wood notes become tart and bitter, a peppery pungency develops and tingles in the mouth. Creamy, the tart aroma goes into the finish.
    • Finish
Bitter, with an extremely nutty walnut aroma, the finish begins. Bitter and wet foliage mixed with the now unripe walnuts, woody notes dominate, sweet fruit always flashes through the tart wood-walnut mixture. A faint cold smoke aroma mixes with old and dry peat.

The pastry or biscuit note from Bruichladdich is not there, but still well done
    • Nose
first slightly alcoholic note, then beeswax and vanilla, followed by light salt-smoke breeze and sweet light fruit (honeydew melon, ripe banana)
    • Taste
soft and creamy, the malt slides through the mouth, then it becomes salty and sweet, a hint of oak and smoke clothe mouth, slight dryness sets in. I also have vanilla, but then it gets inaccurate.
    • Finish
warming, spicy medium-long finish; slightly bitter smoky note in the finish

  3. Cartman scored this whisky 84 points Expert Junior

Nose: very ethereal, vanilla, malt and some solvents, butter biscuits, raspberries

Taste: hay, vanilla, slightly bitter, sweetish, malty, a touch of birch wood and a hint of thyme honey.

Departure: slightly sweetish, a little bit of malt, the bitterness lasts the longest.

Conclusion: From the Laddie Brennereicharakter is not to notice this drop, this is a young, not too complex summer dram.
