    Conclusion and pictures on: https://tomtrinkt.de
    • Nose
A fresh strawberry field just before the harvest comes straight to my mind. Wonderfully fruity, with many more red fruits. Raspberries, redcurrants, cherries, hints of raisins and plenty of plums join. In the background, a beautiful oak wood remains, without being too dominant. Milk chocolate, oranges and hints of shortbread complete the harmonious overall impression. The alcohol (50%) is well integrated. The addition of a few drops of water intensifies the fruity aromas and the influence of the port wine barrels is more noticeable. 15 to 20 minutes of patience in the glass will be well rewarded!
    • Taste
Slightly oily mouth feel, the onset is quite powerful. The tongue tingles slightly before a torrent of sweet-fruity port wine atoms begins. Mountain red fruits (strawberries, raspberries, cherries and plums), bitter orange peel and subtle echoes of dark forest honey are immediately present. After a short time, dark chocolate notes and spicy wood aromas noticeably gain momentum. A slight bitterness on the palate is already noticeable. With a few drops of water: more fruity and even more harmonious.
    • Finish
Medium long, sweet-spicy and warm. The sweet and fruity aromas gradually give way to heavy chocolate, spice and oak notes, leaving a slight bitterness on the palate.

    All around delicious. 84 points.
    • Nose
A kräutriger fruit compote pours into the nose. A mix of fresh, sparkling fruits like lemon and orange, as well as creamy fruits like mango and papaya. In addition, immediately spicy oak, which gives the nose a bit of chocolaty dryness. Soft fruits, especially raspberries. However, strawberries with their certain amount of acid are also there. With time, the spicy oak will increase.
    • Taste
Cool and spicy. The oak tree rules here immediately. But she leaves a subtle sweetness and also the strawberries. Tobacco is still forming in the mouth. Espresso announces itself. After swallowing, it will not be as bitter as expected, yet 17 years in oak barrels characterize the Nachschmecken. Rather dry, a delicate bitterness.
    • Finish
Medium long with latte macchiato and mild tobacco. Strawberries fade first.

Fruit, Pepper, Punch (50%, yay, something for your money!).

Dang, one of those blends, leaving me baffled why I tend to walk around them.

My rating somewhat takes the price into account, but still a solid 83-86 something if you don't mind the price tag at all.

At first sight quite ok, the aroma provides more than the taste and finish. But I can well imagine that he gains again with water and a lot of time.

Wow, very fruity and extremely harmonious. The 50% fits perfectly with the blend. With time and water again a significant increase. This is a Bang for a Buck.

definitely worth trying and underestimated. Measured by the price you get something delicious here!
    • Nose
Port wine influence noticeable, therefore pleasant sweet, plums (but not syrupy or similar - rather fruity / sweet), slightly sweet raisins, alcohol pleasantly integrated!
    • Taste
sweet, slightly prickling on the tongue, bitter orange, plums, raisins, very complacent and round
    • Finish
Medium long, warming, slight bitterness on the palate, light coffee (not very dark or strong) and spices
