A fresh strawberry field just before the harvest comes straight to my mind. Wonderfully fruity, with many more red fruits. Raspberries, redcurrants, cherries, hints of raisins and plenty of plums join. In the background, a beautiful oak wood remains, without being too dominant. Milk chocolate, oranges and hints of shortbread complete the harmonious overall impression. The alcohol (50%) is well integrated. The addition of a few drops of water intensifies the fruity aromas and the influence of the port wine barrels is more noticeable. 15 to 20 minutes of patience in the glass will be well rewarded!

Slightly oily mouth feel, the onset is quite powerful. The tongue tingles slightly before a torrent of sweet-fruity port wine atoms begins. Mountain red fruits (strawberries, raspberries, cherries and plums), bitter orange peel and subtle echoes of dark forest honey are immediately present. After a short time, dark chocolate notes and spicy wood aromas noticeably gain momentum. A slight bitterness on the palate is already noticeable. With a few drops of water: more fruity and even more harmonious.

Medium long, sweet-spicy and warm. The sweet and fruity aromas gradually give way to heavy chocolate, spice and oak notes, leaving a slight bitterness on the palate.
