Whisky Reviews for Blanton's Paris Edition By Night

1 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of points

  1. Ralph Hiltrup did not rate this whisky Expert Senior

    Tasting Note (LMDW):
Color: copper with orange highlights. Nose: heady, powerful. Roasted (tobacco, coffee), it is also particularly shady (cedar, pine). Apricot peaches, incense and leather testify to its olfactory complexity, but also chromatic complexity. It becomes more and more animal (smoked meat, tannery). Palate: rich, lush. She is not afraid to cross the oceans to find herself in the East (curry, ylang-ylang, loukoum). The mid-palate is autumnal and vegetable (carrot, pumpkin). Fruity (queen-claude, Mirabelle plum), it evolves on meaty notes (bacon, salami) that feed a gourmet end of the mouth. Final: long, tense. At first, it is very spicy and spicy (Cayenne). Then, black fruits (blackberry, blueberry, blackcurrant) seize the palate with strong persuasion. The retro-olfaction is greedy (blueberry pie) and spicy glass (star anise, clove).
