Nose is pleasant enough, light, floral, a decent summer dram. Kind of a speyside feel. Reminds me of a middle-of-the-road Braes, Rosebank, etc. Pretty good bang for your buck, not a bad start for this fledgling distillery.
Hold the phone... It doesn't oxidize well... AT ALL! Just a few days after uncorking it's taken a significant turn for the worse. I didn't understand people saying it was overly powerful (and I disagreed with the others' low ratings), but now i start to see it. Hopefully a little more cask influence resolves this in future releases.
("Reminds me of a middle-of-the-road Braes, Rosebank, etc." nope, scratch that, more like a rather low end one)
